Day 81: The Third Fruit of the Spirit is PEACE
Peace! The third fruit of the spirit is peace. There is a peace that we can experience that surpasses all human understanding that can only come from God.
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is a peace that quiets your emotions, and settles the butterflies. This is a peace that we can find comfort and strength in at the same time. This peace is for you and for me. Let’s float in still, clear waters, feeling the cool breeze as we trust and find peace in God.
