Day 44: How Well Did You Sleep?
Good morning! Daily health and well being an be determined by how well you sleep. Ever sleep for a full 8 hours plus and feel exhausted when you wake up? Ever sleep for only 5-6 hours but wake up naturally and feel like you were out like a log? It is so important to understand this to increase your well-being day after day. We normally fall into deep sleep or REM at some point during the night and have light sleep in some kind of cycle.
The best way to track your sleep cycle is an app called Sleep Cycle. It monitors your sleeping cycle to wake you up softly when you are at the lights possible sleep state which allows us to be the most refreshed for the day. You see the way we start the day contributes to how our day goes. We have all run into someone and thought “wow they got up on the wrong side of the bed!” The state they they woke up in easily contributes to why it happens. Let’s give ourselves a head start and have a great night sleep to have a great day ahead!
