📝 Week 4 Homework

  • Choose Your Debt Elimination Strategy
    • Reflect on both the Snowball Method and the Avalanche Method. Choose the one that resonates most with you and your financial goals.
    • Write down your first debt target. This can be the smallest balance (Snowball) or the highest-interest debt (Avalanche).
  • Complete the Tackle the Debt exercise
    • Outline your debt repayment strategy by listing all of your debts, their balances, interest rates, and minimum payments.
    • Plan how much extra you can pay toward each debt to accelerate your progress. Be specific and set a date to pay off your first target.
  • Evaluate Your Financial Habits
    • Journal on your current debt management habits. Do you pay just the minimum? Are you using credit cards for non-essential purchases? What patterns are you noticing?
    • Pick one financial habit that you’ll work on changing this week to stay on track with your debt-free goal.
  • Look up your credit score on Credit Karma and look at the factors that make up your score
    • Use the credit score simulator to see what happens to your score
  • Say your identity declaration and affirmation daily
